Workplace health and safety (WHS) audits are often dreaded, striking fear into managers and employees alike. But remember, Quality audits are not trying to catch us out or expose our failings, their purpose is ultimately to help protect our workers. By ensuring WHS compliance, we can make sure the right procedures and processes are in place to protect the health and safety of our employees and contractors. At its most basic, a WHS audit is the process of assessing a workplace and identifying any hazards that may put employees at risk. The audit can either be an informal walk around or a formal planned inspection, however in both cases, it is a documented process and demonstrates why safety is important in the workplace. There the WHS Auditor has an integral role in relation to WHS in your workplace. The WHS Audit compares what is intended to be in place as established and what is actually in place and suitability of what is in place. This is far more comprehensive than a simple site inspection or walk around.

In order to enrol in the Diploma of Work Health Safety (BSB51319) you must have completed all the core units from any one of:
* BSB41412 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
* BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
* BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.

If you do not hold a Certificate IV ion WHS, but still wish to undertake the Diploma WHS we can help.
We offer a special price for students who wish to complete the 5 core prerequisite units so that they can complete the Diploma.

In order to minimise the cost associated with the Double Diploma, a limited number of electives are available. Electives have been specifically selected to minimise the number of units required to complete both Qualifications.
By studying units, you are able to complete both the Units may be substituted provided the new units continue to satisfy the Qualification rules. Where substitution occurs, an addtional fee may be payable.
